Recently our York shop was approached by local model Nicole Rayner with a fabulous opportunity! She was looking to expand her portfolio with some bridal shots but needed a beautiful wedding gown to do so, and that's where we come in.

Nicole had already arranged the details of the photoshoot with photographer Richard Egan whom she had worked with previously. Richard has had experience of working as a professional photographer in the past but now he mostly does it for his own enjoyment; this enthusiasm for photography really shows in his photos. You can see here a collection of his work which ranges from stunning architecture to beautiful portraits.

To decide which would be the right dress for the shoot Nicole came to our York shop to try on a few styles.

There were many designs she loved (and looked incredible in!) but the one that stood out most was the Pronovias Pleasant gown, which fit like a glove! 

Pronovias is a Spanish wedding gown designer which offers a variety of flattering dresses from slinky and fitted to more classic and simple styles. They use beautiful silks, tulles and laces to create luxury timeless designs.

The Pleasant wedding gown is a romantic, tulle and floral lace creation. It has a fitted waist, elbow length off the shoulder sleeves and a beautiful scalloped lace train.

The photoshoot took place at Pipewell Hall, a romantic seventeenth century country mansion set in magnificent parkland.

Situated in a small rural hamlet in Northamptonshire, this beautifully restored Grade II  listed family home makes for an exceptional wedding venue. For weddings Pipewell Hall offer the use of their grounds with a stunning marquee which can accommodate up to 200 guests. The marquee is nestled amongst mature trees overlooking the beautiful hall, parkland and lakeside setting.

As you can see below the results were amazing! Pipewell Hall's big open windows, magnificent chandelier and polished decor make for a perfect dramatic backdrop. 

These photos beautifully display the Pleasant's intricate lace detail on the illusion neckline, 3/4 length sleeves and buttoned back. Nicole's nipped in waist shows off the classic full skirt, and the long scalloped lace train falls elegantly in soft pleats. 

We are so pleased that we were able to be a part of these wonderful photos!
